Question for other pro artists. I have a client who has asked me to add to the contract as per her wedding planner if the makeup artist/hair dresser cannot attend for whatever reason due to unforeseen circumstance, another artist will be sent in her replacement. Has anyone EVER done this before? I have never not shown up to a clients booking. to me the only unforseen circumstance that would prevent me from being present at a booking would be if I was in a major accident, and in that situation, how could I possible arrange for a replacement? I also would not want to be held responsible if my client was unhappy with the replacements artists work or pricing (I dont think shes expecting me to pay for her?). I have already put in the contract that the full amount would be refunded. is that not enough?
