Question from Amanda I have 9 1/2 month old b/g twins and would - TopicsExpress

Question from Amanda I have 9 1/2 month old b/g twins and would like some advice on nutritious foods to feed them. Currently they are eating things like, weetbix, baby porridge and/or toast for breakfast, yoghurt, cheese sticks, rusks, cooked pasta spirals or mashed or pureed fruits for snacks. Lunch is normally our left over dinner mashed/pureed or a rafferties packet each warmed up and for dinner I give them steamed chicken or cooked meat with steamed veg like broccoli, carrots, sweet potato etc. I try to give them something to experiment or try every few days or so to keep them interested. They are great eaters I just fear they are not getting enough when I allow them to eat by themselves. Currently, after they have picked and tried everything on their plates I gather it all up and mash or puree it and then feed it to them so I can be sure they have had enough. I would love some suggestions on foods to try them on especially foods they can eat independently and get full on. My boy still spits out chunky foods but my girl will eat anything. Suggestions please?
