Question from anonymous: Does anyone eles suffer from social anxiety? I am getting worse and worse everyday. I make plans with friends and at the last minute I cancel. All I want to do is stay home where I know people arent going yo stare at me or talk about me behind my back. I get claustrophobic when I go to the grocery store.I cant handle being in large groups if people. I get very anxious and want to either scream or cry. Im on medications for depression and anxiety but I still HATE to leave the comforts of my home.. any ideas on how to get through this public anxiety? I get so worked up to the point where I cant function. Please help....
