Question from our GIRL, Melanie ~ " I have a question, over the last 3 years I lost 80 lbs, regaining 40 of it back. I did it by first walking, then running on a treadmill and eating healthy. I am back on the bandwagon, hoping to lose 50-60 lbs (again). What would be better (along with healthy eating obviously), running a farther distance each week or running at a faster speed each week?? What really counts is to be consistent in any activity you choose to do. Mixing it up — some days going for intensity with shorter, faster runs, and some days going for endurance with longer, slower runs. It can also make your exercise routine more interesting, fit into any schedule and keep you from getting bored. Also like you said nutrition is most important. I found a very valuable tool was a heart rate monitor - I love my Polar FT7. Do you girls have any added advice? Girls Gone Healthy
