Question, how much of this is true and how much is BS Hello, Everyone. My name is Greg Stone. Yes, THAT Greg Stone, the Captain in that infamous STTNG home video! I did that video over 25 years ago, while working on STTNG. I have provided many props and items from STTNG to the general public, including original Ops/Conn LCAR sheets to a collector in Texas, both the Klingon and Enterprise ship panels from the episode where Riker joined the Klingons, and there was a parasite on both ships! I have also provided to the TREK community, the original TOS sound effects that I got in 1985 from Horta Editorial, who was doing the SFX for the original TAS back in the 70s. Sam Horta and I both signed a Notice of transferal at the time, and I still have the original copy, showing that the Star Trek sound effects, and The Jetsons sound effects reels were loaned to me for a week, back in 1985. The sound effects were supposed to be lost according to Douglas Grindstaff, who was the sound effects person on the original series, so I did a little work and discovered them with Sam Horta, where they sat for over 10 years with no one knowing what happened to them. I provided the reels to Neil Norman of Crescendo Records, along with my music reels from the first TOS pilot, and Where no man has gone before, so he could bring out the TOS music and Sound effects albums! I am very impressed with the quality of the fan made props on this site, they are much cleaner and sharper than the ones we used on the show. The models and props and even the makeup pieces always amazed me how crappy they looked in real life, but I was told it didnt matter, just as long as they looked good on screen! Anyway, nice to join you guys here, and hope to post some great behind the scenes STTNG pictures here for you to enjoy! Thanks so much for adding me to this group. Sincerely, Greg Stone
