Question on hamza frozen food as there was a case of pork dna - TopicsExpress

Question on hamza frozen food as there was a case of pork dna found in some items when Birmingham council had checked the food. This is no longer the case. Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah, We hope this finds you in the best of health & strength of Imaan. Many thanks for your e-mail inquiry. Since the pork saga, Humza Foods have been taken over by new owners and they have opted to take on HMC certification due to its robust monitoring system. A HMC inspector is dedicated auditing all raw material entering the plant ensuring that it is from a HMC certified source and that only HMC certified products are being used during the manufacturing process. Each individual pack will also carry the HMC serialised sticker which is traceable through HMCs audit trail. However, you may find a residue of old non HMC certified stock in the shops WITHOUT the HMC logo & serialised sticker hence it is essential you ensure the HMC certification devices are on the packaging.
