Others are awake. They are different states, but one is not superior than the other. It does not change that they are still buddhas. This whole idea of better or worse is another duality, competitive streak. I do not want people to treat meditation or anything like a competition, then the beauty is lost. And any compassionate act is just hollow if it is coming from a vertical comparison. It is very condescending.
