Questions in my head this morning: Why when we have a Parliament taking home about 4 million a yr not take a cut that could help the MOE, or someone that simply needs their lights back on? When we have a Premier & Dep Premier with a collective salary over half a million, wouldnt it seem more logical to for a pay cut up top then hack at the foundation of Bermuda? Why are MP’s allowed to have other business while being in parliament, but Bermudians that are living paycheck to paycheck get cut? Do people understand that Bermudians now live on the crossroads of either enhancing their education for better or trying to be fed at the end of the day? Does the government understand how trapped Bermudians feel because they cant further their education or leave because their is no money to? Does the OBA still donate 5% of their salary to #Bermuda charity? Or was that just politics? WTF does Nandi do for 106k? Everyone gets so focused on the numbers that we don’t care who gets clipped in the process. Are we just statistics? Or are we actual people? This is bigger than a simple day off
