Quick in a hurry meal!! When I have a late appointment oven and crockpot meals are the best! Here is a yummy quick and easy casserole! Turkey Alfredo Penne Ingredients 1 package of lean ground turkey 1/2 TBSP Italian seasoning 1 Jar of Classico creamy Alfredo sauce & 1/2 jar of water 1 can of cream of celery soup & 1/2 can 1/2% milk 3/4 cup sour cream 2 cups Italian cheese blend 1 cup of fresh chopped mushrooms 1 cup diced onions 1 box of tri-color penne pasta fresh ground salt and pepper Brown turkey with Italian seasoning and add diced onions towards the end (drain if needed 96% lean usually cooks out grease) put to the side while cooking pasta. Drain pasta add soup, milk, sour cream, 3/4 cup cheese, Alfredo sauce( fill jar 1/2 full with water and shake) add water. Mix well then add meat and onion mixture stir until evenly mixed then pour into Cake pan sprayed with cooking spray. Grind Salt and pepper on top to taste the cover with foil. Bake in preheated oven at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover and use the rest of cheese mixture to top return to oven for 15 minutes until cheese and sauce are bubbly and slightly browned! Serving tonight with Steamed broccoli, Salad and croissants! Cooks tip...I add about a tablespoon of sliced olives green or black! (today was green)
