Quick update for you caring folk.. Great appointment at the Royal Brompton today.. Amazing service and barely had time to take my coat off before being whizzed thru xray, ecg, lung function test, then consultant. He told me that surgery can make a big difference to my breathing and improve it bu removing the bullae (lung disease). He also said that bullae sometimes after being infected can reduce themselves and may not require surgery. This was interesting news and in one month we will know if anything has happened. The left lung still has fluid in it as you will probably be able to see in the picture (if u look really hard haha) Essentially surgery is imminent and I just want it wrapped up and to return to being the world class surfer I was 2 months ago.. ok maybe not world class but defo best at my local . Ok best at someone else beach...... At night.. but anyway the point is that we can hopefully sort it and life will resume.. Thats the plan anyway . Stay tuned.... meanwhile get bloody donating if you can.. huge thank you to everyone who has you know who you are.. Id love to reach a £1000 before new year.. thats 350 quid away..
