Quick update, more to come later - We got the funds necessary to start building a park at 401 W. St. Johns!!! Hooray! Now is the time for the final email to City Council to say THANK YOU!!! austintexas.gov/mail/all-council-members Subject - Thank you from the Highland Neighborhood We asked you to provide funding so we may write grants, raise money, plant trees and put amenities in to create a park at 401 W. St. Johns...and you did! As you know, North Central Austin is severely deprived of parkland - your actions have been a step in the right direction to helping fix this big problem. Thank you for honoring the hard work we have done to unite as a neighborhood around a very necessary park within our community and to compromise with other stakeholder groups. We are excited to continue this hard work and hope to invite you to a beautiful park full of fantastic amenities very soon. Sincerely,
