Quiet hospital room (rare) good hospital coffee, Ian resting comfortably after a rocky morning. Im sitting here praying and he drifts in and out looking my way to be sure Im here. Im full of gratitude for the overwhelming support of our family and friends. It feels a bit weird to be so public via FB but what better way to communicate. Someday Ill figure out how widespread our prayer support has been, but it has been staggering. A good friend reminded me this morning that this is a marathon not a sprint. It was such a relief for the scary surgery to be over, my body crashed last night. Becca, the cats and I all overslept! Thankful for Doug Hucke who slept (yeah right) at Ians bedside all night. Thanks to you for riding this journey with us. The Body of Christ is amazing! #onedayatatime.
