R. Colophon This book was written using a full screen text editor in 80 horizontal columns x 25 veritical rows alpha-numeric mode on an International Business Machines (I.B.M.) micro-computer with an Intel (i)8088 Central Processing Unit. (C.P.U.) When the book is opened in the editor, there are 77 columns of text with the cursor in the 78th column at the far right of the window and 22 rows of text. When the book is scrolled down, the chapter letters or numbers should be displayed on the sixth row from the top of the screen. If you try to display this 77 column x 22 row book at the Disc Operating System (D.O.S.) prompt, by Entering: TYPE TSIH7722.xxx /P then the book will not display correctly. In that case, display the 79 column book by Entering: TYPE TSIH7925.xxx /P or TYPE TSIH7943.xxx /p or TYPE TSIH7950.xxx /P The xxx is a variable (extention) representing types of files such as A.S.C.I.I. (text) files; for example: txt, doc, three digits (representing a date that the file was written or up-dated) or no extention (variable) at all. The extentions may also indicate non-text (non-A.S.C.I.I.) files that have to be opened with word processors such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Reader. The numbers 22, 25, 40, 43, 47, and 50 in the file names indicate the number of rows displayed in the editor and/or at the D.O.S. prompt. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
