R-Day full dress rehearsal held at Reasi, Katra Reasi, JANUARY 24: The full dress rehearsal in connection with the celebration of Republic day was held at Reasi. The rehearsal was held at Mini Sports Stadium Reasi today under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Reasi- Shiv Kumar Gupta and Superintendent of Police Reasi -Sanjay Rana. Officers from civil administration, police and army besides public representatives and senior citizens were also present on the occasion. On the occasion, ADC took salute at an impressive march past of 31 contingents drawn from CRPF, IRP, J&K Police, STC Talwara, NCC and various educational institutions of Reasi and its adjoining areas. Students drawn from different educational institutions presented scintillating cultural items based on patriotism, cultural traditions and social evils. After the full dress rehearsal, the ADC issued all necessary instructions to the concerned departments and schools to make the function a grand success. ADC also called for ensuring maximum participation of the citizens at Sports Stadium Reasi on 26th January to celebrate Republic Day function jointly in a big way. Meanwhile at Katra full dress rehearsal was also held today. The rehearsal was held under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Katra Kulbir Singh and SDM Katra.
