R.I.P. Philip Seymour Hoffman. Can anyone please explain to me why a man of his supreme talent died the way he did. He just didnt seem to be the type. His work was beyond the realm of genius. Here was a guy who became another person. Im reminded of Dustin Hoffman in Midnight Cowboy, of Marlon Brandon in The Godfather, of Robert DeNiro in Raging Bull. It is so sad when something so unexpected happens. When you watch him in Boogie Nights and see the way he transformed himself into a human being so unlike himself. What a great talent. What a tragedy. What a tragedy...anyone out there reading this and is messing around with that shit please stop right know!
