RAINY- TORTURED BAIT DOG AS A PUPPY..HOMELESS NOW.. TODAY IS HIS CHANCE!! BE THERE FOR HIM! Petsmart Cumming 11a-3p. I am not sure how much pain Rainy will have to endure in his short life. When we saved him from the kill shelter, he was covered in blood, holes in his head, a completely ripped off ear and another ear half way ripped off. He was tied up for fighting dogs to train on. He was still a young pup. This constant torture not only scarred his face and body but also his security (how could it not?). If you were beaten by a certain person day in and day out as a young child, would you be fearful of that person? Rainy is not at all fearful of people, however he is very defensive around dogs especially while on leash. Are they coming for me? Am I about to relive that nightmare? He barks like crazy for them to know he isnt that same dog anymore. So what does that mean for Rainy? Well..he is homeless. He cant be with other pets in a home now. Dogs in a home make him defensive and cats are too fun to chase. SO he must live his life in a cage until we can find someone without pets to take this WONDERFUL boy! He has had a crap life so far and we cant seem to make it better. We saved him from death row..yes. But what did we save him from? Living a life in a cage is not a life at all! He wants a family so very badly! It is all he ever wanted. He didnt choose this life and yet he continues to pay the price of what humans did to him. We REALLY need to find this sweet boy a home! Whether it is a foster home or a furever home! Rainy is one of my favorites (shhhhh...dont tell the rest). He is sooooooo loving! I mean sooooo! He will climb in your lap, he will lean between your legs, he craves to be loved on, he would make the BEST snuggle buddy! He carries around this smile when he sees people. It is his favorite thing in the world to have people pay him attention. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME MEET HIM TODAY!! I am begging that you come to Petsmart Cumming 1020 Market Place Blvd TODAY (sat) and pull Rainy aside (away from the chaos), spend some time with him and see if you can PLEASE bail him out and give him a home! He needs a pet free home, older kids and a nice fence to run around in. He is completely different off leash in a yard than on leash (memories of being tied up and attacked make him not himself on leash). He is also housetrained and just a very amazing dog!
