RALLYING ROUND THE WOUNDED SOLDIERS IN THE BODY OF CHRIST; AND AS OCCASION WARRANT, LET US EXALT OTHERS ABOVE OURSELVES. HOW DO WE REACT, WHEN WE SEE OUR FELLOW BRETHREN FALLING AWAY FROM THE GLORY OF GOD(THE BACKSLIDDEN BRETHREN)?.Rom:15:1 WE WHO are strong [in our convictions and of robust faith] ought to bear with the failings {and} the frailties {and} the tender scruples of the weak; [we ought to help carry the doubts and qualms of others] and not to please ourselves. Gal:6:1-2:BRETHREN, IF any person is overtaken in misconduct {or} sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right {and} restore {and} reinstate him, without any sense of superiority {and} with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also.Bear (endure, carry) one anothers burdens {and} troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill {and} observe perfectly the law of Christ (the Messiah) {and} complete what is lacking [in your obedience to it]. BY EXHIBITING THE TRUE LOVE OF GOD IN DEED, WE ARE TO RALLY ROUND THE FALLING BELOVED IN CHRIST TO BRING THEM BACK TO THEIR FEET;SO THEY CAN STAY STRONG IN THEIR CALLING:1Thess:5:14 And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish (warn and seriously advise) those who are out of line [the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly]; encourage the timid {and} fainthearted, help {and} give your support to the weak souls, [and] be very patient with everybody [always keeping your temper]. Isaiah:35:3-5:Strengthen the weak hands and make firm the feeble {and} tottering knees.Say to those who are of a fearful {and} hasty heart, Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the recompense of God He will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. THE PERFECT LOVE OF GOD HAS BEEN POURED IN OUR HEART BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, SO WE ARE HAVE THE NATURE OF OUR FATHER IN US AS A NEW CREATURE.Rom:5:5 Such hope never disappoints {or} deludes {or} shames us, for Gods love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. PERFECT LOVE COVERED MULTITUDE OF SINS:1Pet:4:8 Above all things have intense {and} unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others]. James:5:19-20:[My] brethren, if anyone among you strays from the Truth {and} falls into error and another [person] brings him back [to God], Let the [latter] one be sure that whoever turns a sinner from his evil course will save [that ones] soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins [procure the pardon of the many sins committed by the convert]. BUT IN MOST CASES, REVERSE IS THE CASE, MANY OF US CHRISTIANS RATHER THAN RALLYING ROUND THE BACKSLIDDEN CHRISTIAN, WE BEGIN TO GOSSIP AND SPREAD THE BAD NEWS. THAT IS NOT LOVE, IF SOMEBODY WE GENUINELY LOVE SHOULD FALL, WE MUST TRY TO LOOK FOR A WAY TO COVER THEM UP, AND NOT SLANDERING THEM AT THEIR BACK, AND WHEN WE SEE THEM WE PRETEND AS IF WE ARE THEIR BRETHREN IN THE LORD(HYPOCRISY). Gal:5:14-15:For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. But if you bite and devour one another [in partisan strife], be careful that you [and your whole fellowship] are not consumed by one another. LET US NOT BE WEARY IN SEEKING THE WAY TO BE A BLESSING TO THOSE OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH: Gal:6:9-10: And let us not lose heart {and} grow weary {and} faint in acting nobly {and} doing right, for in due time {and} at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen {and} relax our courage {and} faint. So then, as occasion {and} opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to Gods family with you, the believers]. 1Cor:15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing {and} being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]. HAVING THE MIND OF CHRIST. EVEN WHILE THE PEOPLE ARE CRUCIFYING OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, HE NEVER CURSED THEM, BUT HE PRAYED TO THE FATHER TO FORGIVE THEM, BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.Luke:23:34 And Jesus prayed, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they divided His garments {and} distributed them by casting lots for them. Phil:2:4-5: Let each of you esteem {and} look upon {and} be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others. Let this same attitude {and} purpose {and} [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] Col:3:12-13:Clothe yourselves therefore, as Gods own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified {and} holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity {and} mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper]. Be gentle {and} forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive]. ITS NOT BY POWER NOR BY MIGHT, BUT BY MY SPIRIT SAID THE LORD. THE LORD HAS GIVEN US THE GRACE TO FULFILLED WHATEVER HE ASKED US TO DO. ALL WHAT WE ARE EXPECTED TO DO IS LOOK AWAY FROM OUR SELF, AND LOOK UNTO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF FAITH, THROUGH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.Eph:4:7 Yet grace (Gods unmerited favor) was given to each of us individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christs [rich and bounteous] gift.Rom:12:3 For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate {and} think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him. THE GRACE OF GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN HOLY GHOST IS WHAT EMPOWERED US TO BE A CHANNEL OF BLESSING TO OUR BRETHREN.
