I posed the question to another constituent and was told If you remove the debushing programme, and garbage collections are less frequent, you will have an environmental and health crisis. Further, if you do not teach Barbadians to crush their boxes before garbaging them, they become receptacles for mosquito breeding. That girl would make a better Minister of Health or Environment, than the ones we have at present. I was deeply disappointed to see that merchants raised the price of OFF, BOP, CITRONELLA in a time of crisis. I watched a senior citizen trying to decide if she could afford the citronella oil - 10.00 for 3 0zs. We were swapping chikungunya stories last night, and this one stands out.
