RANT: If you dont go to church on Sunday mornings you are forsaking the assembly and are not under submission. If a Pastor isnt over you youre out of Gods will. Really ? This is the kind of false ignorant teaching that has been taught for years. THE SHEPERDING MOVEMENT. I had a discussion (he drew 1st blood) w/ a brotha tonight at Dennys about this same subject which was going no where but he insisted even after I told him to change the (I knew it was heading towards an argument and we didnt see same point of view) subject twice. Dude wouldnt back off. While his wife gets up and says shondo I rebuke that spirit. Then she says Oh I was only joking to cover her ignorance. Then another Sista says to me and my wife that we are lazy spirit cuz we dont attend a Sunday service. Wow, really brothas/sistas in Christ. Incredible and remarkable. This is what it has come down to ? I wanted to tell them you are examples why people dont want anything to do with the local church Religious, make me wanna puke, spirit. But I held my (Cuban) tongue. No, I bit it. Ricky Recardo youre not surfacing. If being part of the body and having an intimate relationship with God is only attained by attending a Sunday morning service then something is seriously wrong. Hey, whether u fellowship on Sun, Mon, Tue etc...in a building, tent, homes etc... if u feel u need a covering or a Kmart umbrella or u just have one spritiual mentor etc...is fine by me. Whatever God has for u and it floats ur boat, cool. But imposing how God has your course on others is wrong. All I wanted was to enjoy a nice fellowship and a nice meal at Dennys. But noooooo. Something to think about.
