RANT TIME Back story of TDS • In June of last year got quoted two contracts including a 70 dollar credit to compete with AT&T on toll free charges • In June of last year signed the two contracts the first with basic phone service set to expire at the time we switched to VOIP (happened in March) o Contract one included the 70 dollar credit o Contract two DID NOT but it was quoted in both • Been battling issue after issue since November of last year including, but not limited to o Several service disconnects by technicians leaving us without phones during business hours for a total of 4 hours. o The turning off of our long distance service twice because of “fraud detection” from our owner calling Germany (2 business hours without long I distance) o Other than the 70 dollar credit several other charges that were to be excluded from our bill that took months to sort out o Fraudulent 800 calls that they can’t seem to figure out that result in 24 hours of billed toll free charges I have to call and remove every month. Absolutely by far the worst worst worst experience with a company in my entire life. Now on top of it they uppity ups will not honor the credit and have us sign new contracts (as our rep expected us to be able to do) because of policy changes they have had this year. Complain about Time Warner, Charter, AT&T, and Earthlink all you want. I have dealt with all of them and continue to do so to this day (excluding Earthlink who we moved from to TDS because of price) and they don’t even come close to screwing shit up as bad as TDS has. I vowed to them that I will make sure everyone and anyone I know understands how horrible a company they are and how little of a shit they give.
