RANT TIME Those of you that know me know that all events I do are for the benefit of the town. Not one penny goes into my pocket or to my business. Funds are used for future events or donated to local charites. Depsite this I have had the finger pointed at me on many occassions suggesting I was lining my own pockets. This came to a head while I was at the Town Hall as a Trustee and not just from outwith the group either. This was part of the reason I gave up because as a volunteer putting in a whole heap of hours I didnt need that shit. Since have left I have put up with all kinds of petty shit when using the hall and the equipment that I was active in obtaining for the community. Now today I go over to find my posters which were put on the notice boards inside the hall have all been removed and one can only assume disposed off since my property has not been returned. So if you want to know what I am doing such as Old Bind dogs, Family Karaoke, Big Country, ABBAMANIA(with Stephen Jackson), Hairspray, Toyah, Badmanners and Ballroom gitz, Please join either theStonehaven Festivals and Events Page or Ma Simpsons Fb page or come look in my shop window. However should this pettiness persist I will stop putting on events in the Town Hall Until such time appropriate management is in control.
