RCA says they have the same accreditation as Briarcrest except Briarcrest adds a Christian school accreditation. Its hard for me to be fair to RCA. I was blown away by the academics at PDS. They are FAR superior in that regard to either FACS or RCA. PDS only goes through the 6th grade. Its expensive. They will offer a great deal of financial aid. Over 80% of their graduates go onto MUS. Most of their teachers have advanced training. The chaplain used to teach at CDS. (Missed his name) RCA obviously care for their students. Enrollment is down some but stable for now. They acknowledged concern about Collierville municipal and Piperton Charter. Both schools are anti-Common Core. I KNOW that Mac would have to work a lot harder at PDS. The kids looked happy and engaged. I didnt get a chance to interact with the kids at RCA. .... Briarcrest tomorrow and St. Georges if no decision is made tomorrow.
