RCC 2014 SUMMER BUCKET LIST Y-YOU OK RCC readers- this is all AD LIB tonight!! It is late- And I was celebrating our efforts for anti-bullying with colleagues and supporters. While ANALYZING my surroundings - It made me think of the ONE PERSON in life that should matter most- Y...O...U. The most important realization and truth about living, can only happen when you dismiss all the stereotypical ATTRIBUTES that envelop our lives daily. Agree to disagree- not because everyone is doing it- reach out and find your own CONFIDENCE, make your own decisions, live you own life. Many feel the need to be perceived a certain way by family, colleagues, friends and even strangers, allowing false PRAGMATISM and self-image to cloud their own TRUE SELF. I am going to be really HONEST right now. Do you LOVE who you are or do you cringe because other people seem happier than you? Do you REVEL in another persons grief or drama in order to find SANITY within your own surroundings? Reality shows do...and many viewers do as well! We have all heard the sayingBEFORE you love anyone else- YOU need to love YOURSELF - within reason. Dont go overboard and frown upon those less FORTUNATE. Dont shine your diamond ring at a fundraiser for the homeless. Just ACCEPT who you are and WORK IT. Whatever life you were born into has no STOP lights. If you want something bad enough - rich or poor- YOU can get it ... because NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE! Sometimes LESS is MORE. In fact- some of the happiest people on earth- live paycheck to paycheck- and I applaud them. If your heart is PURE and your intentions AMICABLE - the road to a more POSITIVE YOU is within reach. Be KIND and do the right thing always. ALWAYS, keep your life separate from others and you will find PEACE. Find your religion, or that one person who does not judge. The happiest PEOPLE are those who have nothing to hide. They live their life and dont care about the general consensus. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT and hold your head up high- ALWAYS!! Live with PURPOSE and live with love. Remember, dont let anyone stifle your HAPPINESS or steal your thunder- If they do- take it as a complement!! Its OK to just be- YOU!!!! As the karaoke microphone was handed back and forth to aspiring TALENTS tonight- and the bar room jealousies heightened, I just sat back in NEUTRAL territory. Live, laugh, love and just be YOU - ALWAYS!!! WE all have that power within!! XOXO -RG-
