RCC BWAI CHAIRMAN REACTS TO THE ACCIDENT OF ITS PASTORS by Rev. Gideon Gushop – RCC Bwai The Chairman of RCC Bwai, Rev. Markus Dawus had described the accident of three of its pastors who were on their way to Pastors’ College Kabwir as very unfortunate. The whole RCC and the entire COCIN family were really disturbed by the accident. He added that the RCC had made all possible arrangements to see that they were comfortable during their stay at Kabwir. Rev. Dawus revealed that the Pastors were given the RCC pickup truck to pack all their belongings and on their way from Pankshin to Kanke LGA, the car had a break failure and unfortunately the speed of the pickup increased as they were in driving down a hill and ultimately crashed into a big hole. Rev. Gushop disclosed that the surviving victims are responding to treatment and the RCC is doing all it can to get them to return back to their normal lives. The affected pastors are Pastor Sani Parpuus of LCC Sulwa, Pastor Benjamin Putu of LCC Nangbung and Pastor Dennis Sati of LCC Mpil. Others affected in the accident included the driver, Mr. Meke Dame, two Pastors’ wives, three Pastors’ children and the son of the driver and others. A total number of 12 victims were affected by the deadly accident with two persons losing their lives including the son of Pastor Benjamin Putu.
