RCMP Constable Chad McRae of Cold Lake Detachment has been charged with one count of Common Assault. The charge is the result of a statutory investigation into his conduct during the course of an arrest in Cold Lake on September 21, 2012. Cst. McRae remains on full operational duties, and will make his first court appearance in Cold Lake Provincial Court on January 8, 2014. Sgt.
