RE: DRUG TESTING FOR WELFARE RECIPIENTS - MY OPINION How about testing them for their aptitude for work and forget about what they put in their bodies. Work toward ending welfare altogether. IMO all charity should be local. This testing program will lead to another layer of government bureaucracy and probably a whole new program for treating drug users. More taxpayer money down the drain. Start seeing clearly and put an end to government handouts. They are as addictive as any drug and lead to more poverty, apathy and higher taxes to pay all the administrative costs. 70% of all that tax money pays the administrators and only 30% gets passed to the ones in need. Welfare creates more poverty by rewarding apathy and fraud. Put people to work, and stop trying to be everybodies nanny.
