RE: Ferguson, MO Ya know? I find it hard to believe that these protesters are part of that community. I alluded to as much to Kelly Winston McGee. I know what its like to be part of the community. Im part of this community now and I was pert of that one for a very long time. I remember, back about 1976, the Fed.s were talking about merging the Ferg-Flo school district with the Kinloch and Berkley districts. I believe, Dr. Brown was the superintendent at the time. He figured it was better to go ahead and do that voluntarily and keep the Feds out of it. Smart man. I wish he had run for mayor. Hell, President ;) The talk was that there were going to be riots and chaos, fighting at the school. I was there. It didnt happen. Back then we had a smoking area. Remember the bleachers? The new students were very impressed and we had quite the party. Of course we always did, did we not. The underlying tensions about the Berkley-Kinloch area disappeared. After all, suddenly a lot of your friends from school lived there. Yall remember Aloysius Royal? He was a member of that community and I believe he still is. Pastor Al now if Im not mistaken. Anyway, where Im going is that the people who stayed and lived through those earlier times are now parents there. We didnt have all that racial tension back then so they wouldnt have passed any attitude to their kids. So where is it coming from? If not from our generation then where? How does a resurgence of 50-60s style racism happen? Im telling you all, This shit is myths and rumors festering and it needs to stop. :( If not us who? If not now when?-Say a prayer brothers youtu.be/-IUSZyjiYuY
