I will quote two or three paragraphs daily for your comments and reaction. The author on :- 1- An extract from the book on page 237 is given here which shows how obnoxious is the narration: “ The text suggests that Rama might feat that Lakshmana might replace him in bed with Sita, It keeps insisting that Lakshman will not sleep with Sita……… The tension between the two half brothers, over Sita is a major motivation for the plot for with him gone, what could I, felt alone do to stop you doing the one thing that you came here to do.” 2- Page 669 is given below “ One nigh while Sita and Rama were lying together, Sita discussed Lakshman very affectionately. She said, “ There he is sleeping alone. What is it that keeps him away from women? Why does he want to marry?” This roused suspicion in Rama’s mind. Sita slept soundly, but Rama kept awake the whole night imagining things.
