REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT SOCIETY ANNOUNCES NEW OFFICERS AND BOARD The Real Estate Investment Society (REIS) has announced the election of officers and the board of governors to lead the organization during 2014: President Sean M. Ellis, ROETZEL; Vice President Matt Simmons, Maxwell, Hendry & Simmons, LLC: Treasurer Amanda L. Brock, Henderson Franklin Starnes & Holt, PA and Secretary Karen Miller, Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, Inc. The board of governors includes: Alexis Crespo, Waldrop Engineering; Randy Krise, Krise Commercial Group, LLC; Bev Larson, Lahaina Realty; Charles Mann, Pavese Law Firm; Mark Morris, VIP Realty - Commercial; John Nicola, Grandbridge Real Estate Capital and Nikole Wesley, Chris-Tel Construction. The immediate past president, Steve Hurley, David Douglas Associates, Inc., remains on the Board. REIS luncheon meetings convene at 11:30 on the second Tuesday of each month at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers to network and discuss current civic and business issues affecting the commercial real estate and development industry.
