REBELLION AND POLLUTION Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, To the oppressing city! 2 She has not obeyed His voice, She has not received correction; She has not trusted in the LORD, She has not drawn near to her God. (Zephaniah 3:1-2) The passage cautions a society that it describes as rebellious, polluted and oppressing. The four attributes that qualify for this description are then stated and they are very familiar: 1. Disobeying Gods voice. 2. Not receiving correction. 3. Not trusting in the Lord. 4. Not drawing near to God. If we find ourselves guilty of these, we now know what the Lord says about us. May you draw close to God, trust Him, receive His correction and obey Him.
