REBELLION RECORDS 2014 2014 has just started but already promises to be such a great year for rebellion records. It seems after 12 years of hard work everything comes together now. Heres a glimpse of the shape of things to come: - Have been spinning the new BISHOPS GREEN album on testpressing about 20 times now. Each time I hear new things and the record gets better and better. How much quality, class and craftmenship can you put into 1 album, really amazing!. - Checking an exclusive song by NOI!SE for an upcoming split release on rebellion. This band puts so much character and passion in their songs! Proud to release a NOI!SE song on rebellion. - Still cannot believe how good the 2 exclusive LIONS LAW songs are for the Oi! Aint Dead 2 10! Hanging on the corner is my fav and 100% pure anthemic Oi! quality! RAZORCUT is ruling side B of this release with 2 100% exclusive and brandnew aussie oi! stompers - Listening to an exclusive song by BADLANDS called Banner of Hope. This time they chose a much cleaner 77 sound again and this song shows me why I love this band so much - Proud to present some new bands coming your way thru rebellion: HARD EVIDENCE with an amazing sound not unlike The Crack IRON CITY HOOLIGANS debut album was good, but listening to the new 6 songs they recorded for a 12 on rebellion makes me realise I never heard a band grow so much in such a short time. Amazing stuff! CONCRETE plays hard-edged oi! stuff with such passion and class, made us want to release a single AND a digipack CD for them instantly. Hard stuff with a lot of authenticity to it! SUBROCKERS are a dutch all star punk outfit and surprised the scene with their high quality old school pubrock debut album on rebellion. A new single is due for release in february SUEDE RAZORS is the latest signing to rebellion. 77 sound by members of sydney ducks and harrington saints. You know you cant go wrong with this one! - Rebellion finally kicks of with the CLASSIC OI! VINYLS serie. First up are cult albums by LAST RESORT/COMBAT84, CONDEMNED 84, THE STRIKE, THE EJECTED and THE KICKERBOYS - Great to see that good albums last for many years. Some rebellion oldies (debut albums from HATEFUL and DISCHARGER) will be finally put out on vinyl this year. We will also be re-issueing hands of time and false gestures by BADLANDS on limited vinyl - RAZORBLADE is currently working on a deal with a great USA label for the upcoming album, and serious plans are made to get the band over to play the US in 2015! Furthermore the artwork is finilised so the new album can go into production asap! On the 9th of february the band shoots a 2nd video for the new album (for the song FEEL THE RAGE) at their show in 013 Tilburg. Razorblade is also gonna record a few new songs soon for some upcoming split releases. Besides all this we still have a lot of surprising releases in the pipeline for 2014, we will continue with the digipack Oi!
