RECAP from my previous notes… We saw that: faith is a noun, whiles believe is a verb, the just shall live by faith, and faith, from Hebrews 11 is the substance of things hope for; the evidence of things not seen. We also said that faith equals the word of God. To further explain this let’s look at John Chapter 1. 1. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The subject here is the word. Please keep in mind Hebrews 11:1 that faith is the substance (raw material, stuff, origin) of all things. So, in the beginning WAS the word. Please note; the word was before the beginning. Before ever there was a beginning, there WAS first the word. The word was with God, and the word was God. According to John 1:1, God and the Word (his word), are one and the same. So, the beginning did not begin God but God began the beginning. God did not come out of the beginning; the beginning came out of God. Before ever there was a beginning, there was first, THE WORD (GOD). 2.“The same was in the beginning with God.” The word was in the beginning with God. God had his words with him from the beginning. 3. “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.” All things were made by THE WORD OF GOD and without THE WORD OF GOD was not anything made that was made. So, the WORD OF God made all things. But remember…. Faith also, is the substance ( material, stuff, origin) of things. Therefore, the WORD of God is the substance of all things; the WORD of God equals Faith. FAITH EQUALS THE WORD OF GOD. Let’s move a little further. How did God make all things???? He spoke them into existence. Let’s see……. Genesis Chapter 1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Verse 3 “....And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Verse 6 “…And God said.” Verse 9 “…And God said.” Verse 11… “And God said.” Verse 14 “… And God said.” WELL, WHAT IS GOD DOING??? HE IS CREATING. WHENEVER GOD WANTS TO CREATE SOMETHING, HE SPEAKS SOMETHING. Verse 20 “...And God said.” Verse 26 “… And God said.” Verse 29 “… And God said.” Verse 31 “…And God saw…. (WHAT DID HE SEE??? EVERYTHING HE HAS BEEN SAYING) everything that he had made” The Bible says we also have the spirit of faith. If we are not speaking THE WORD OF GOD in our lives, we are also not shaping, framing or creating our own world. The word of God will change every negative circumstance in your life…only if you speak it. But you cannot speak it if you don’t know it. That’s why it’s very important to get in THE WORD. 2 Corinthians 4: 13 “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” AMEN
