The Patriot Guard Riders under CHP escort will be escorting a local fallen hero from San Andreas, U.S. Army Sgt. Matthew Maddox, 22 to Sacramento International Airport. He tragically succumbed to injuries he suffered in a vehicle accident near his home just one month from his separation from the Army. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for his service. There will be gatherings at the four-way stop in Valley Springs@ 8:15am, Hwy 12 and Burson Rd@ 8:20 and I am going to be at Hwy 88 and Liberty Rd@ 8:30am for anyone who would like to join me to say thank you and pay your respects. Bring your flags and signs of respect. Anyone who shows up to protest will be asked to leave. The route of the escort is as follows: Depart San Andreas on Hwy 12 west to Hwy 88 east to Liberty Rd. to Hwy 99 north to Twin Cities Rd. west to I-5 north to Sacramento International Airport.
