RECRUITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT RESEARCH ANALYST/SAFETY COORDINATOR – SCOTLAND COUNTY Under general direction and supervision, performs special research projects for the County Manager, which may include researching and compiling data from various resources for the purpose of potential policy development and enhancement, determining statistics and trends, methods of funding, etc. Work will also involve administrative and technical work in risk and safety programs in coordinative and cooperative efforts with department heads and employees. Work will also include coordinating training programs implemented by the County; other related duties as required. Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, industry safety engineering or related fields with at least two years experience in governmental administrative work, in insurance programs, risk management or loss control; or any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
