Key points need to be addressed to create the ultimate experience when watching this video. I chose the long version to set the tone and make my points. 1. Matts rehearsal with Adam--watch Adam carefully; his emotionality and depth of feeling are contagious. Note his comment biggest challenge equals biggest reward. Is there any other way to live? 2. Midway through the song--note the alternating camera focus on Matt and then on instrument woman and then back on Matt--one of the most beautiful and compelling visuals ever. 3. Immediately thereafter, camera catches a few moments of Adam who is utterly mesmerized. Again, perfect. 4. Blakes comment about never having heard the song and being thankful that Matt was his introduction to the song. O MG Blake - no need to ever hear the original version. 5. Adams description of the two sides of love--yeah thats obvious but in his next comments he recognizes how Matt embodied and exuded the whole spectrum of love in his performance. 6. My favorite part--watch Matt closely while Adam speaks. The kid has never even been in love. How then did he pull off what Adam described? He just got up there and unleashed himself.
