REGARDING RETIREMENT: New developments indicate that I may be able to retire now. Im checking with my SSA councilor, and if what the National Office of the Social Security Administration told me today, I may be eligible for full Social Security now. Apparently, if you are within 3-months of being fully vested, they will pro rate those months and I will get full Social Security payments. Also, I will be able to make as much money as I want without penalty because as of November I will be 66. I have two meetings between now and next Thursday. Then I will decide. If I the above is correct, I will most likely set my last day as Oct., just 2.5 weeks away. I will also most likely look for some part time work for the first few months after retirement until full retirement payments begin coming in.
