REGROUPERS...listen up... It is obvious from several recent and excellent posts by fellow REGROUPERS, including, but not limited to Diana Hanford Demarest, William McMaster Elaine Bettencourt and Connie Simon , that Floridas commitment to renewable energy and related consumer savings has been totally gutted. As President Obama once famously ( or infamously ) said Elections have consequences. Many members here, including the Co-Administrators, would like to be proactive, which means not just posting and pointing out a problem but actually doing something about it! We can post and complain for the next 2 years but that just allows us to be educated and to vent. This blatant Rick Scott payoff to Duke Energy et. al. should not be taken lying down. Lets do something! If any REGROUPERS want to take this further, e.g helping to map out a possible action plan for REGROUPER participation, let me know here. Although not in Florida, I worked in local and state governments and non profits my entire professional life and I know that there is something more that can be done that just post and like and/or comment on each others posts. We can walk the walk, not just talk the talk. Post here if you want to take a walk on the [renewable energy] side.
