RELIGION VS. TRUE SPIRITUALITY… ††† Romans 8:1 says: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” I like that word “now’’. Religion is always in the past or way ahead in the future, but never in the present. It has no relevance to your life. So if your vocabulary is always “God did” and “God shall” but never “God is,” there’s something wrong. You’ve got too much religion in you. Watch it!!! Faith is a now expectancy. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Anytime you’re approaching God, you approach Him with an “is,” not a “was” or a “going to be.” God is a present-tense God. He will heal you now. He will deliver you now. ADVICE!!! Religion has taken its toll upon the citizens of our nation and in many parts of the world. Most Christians live in this religious mind-set. Everything else in their life they want now, but not God. And the only thing that can really be now is God. God can heal you now, save you now, deliver you now, give you the answer to your problem now!!!
