RELYING ON GOD IN OUR AFFLICTIONS 2 Cor. 1:8-10. Theres vast difference between self-reliance and reliance on God. Self-reliance is taking charge of your own affairs, being it emotional, relationship, psychological, social, financial, spiritual or physical with the aim of resolving things on your own accord. And Reliance on God is believing in God for what Hes done and will do to rescue you from any affliction. We get afflicted in diverse ways and affliction isnt only a phenomenon for only unbelievers but believers alike. God is always powerful and is the Impossibility Specialist whos able to do exceedingly and abundantly even than we can think of. Rely solely on God in your affliction as Paul and Co did as self-reliance in times of affliction results in depression and lost of hope. The resurrection power of Christ is mightier and greater than our afflictions so never chose self-reliance when God is ever ready to give you rest, peace and sound mind.
