REMEMBER THIS IS THE LAW AND THE LOW LIFES TRY TO LIE TO FIGHT IT; NYS Debt Dispute Law and federal law in accord to [ FDCPA- 15 U.S.C sec: 1692 ], which reads; “The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) AND NYS LAWS; When there is enforceable debt and or the debtor is in breach of contract, debt collectors will send a notice within five days before their initial contact with debtor. This notice should contain information about the amount owed and who the creditor is. Also indicate a statement regarding the debt and any enforceable action that might legally transpire.” “If the debt is to be disputed the window of time is extremely important pursuant to Title 15 U.S.C sec: 1692 and NYS debt dispute laws. Failure to respond within 30 days in writing, the debt collector has the right to assume that the debt is yours to pay.” NYS Disputing a Debt: If you do not believe that you owe the debt in question (for example, if it already has been paid or if you do not think that it is yours), then you should write to the debt collector within 30 days to explain the situation. Do not send original documents, but instead provide copies of everything that supports your position.
