*** REMINDER*** Phase 2 Heath Road Resurfacing 1, 11th - 18th August 2014 (no works over the weekend) 2, Croft Road to Smorrall Lane, including the junction with Heath Road (in other words up to about All Saints Road) 3, Works will be carried out under a road closure during the times 09:30 am - 15:30 pm 4, A444 slip road open The diversion suggested is this: to get into and out of Woodlands Park and the Woodlands is along the Woodlands Road, Bedworth Lane (Rabbit Lane) to Astley Lane, turning left there to join Smorrall Lane, then right up Smorrall Lane to Hospital Lane on to Goodyers end Lane. My choice would have been straight over to Dark Lane at the crossroads. The only other thing I would flag up is, that yes you can join Heath Road off Smorrall Lane via Renison Road on to Smith Street, I would not recommend this as Smith Street is congested at the best of times, and not fit for heavy traffic. I tried my best to get info about buses and what will be happening with them, I had no come back. I would imagine that they will divert back down Dark Lane or Hospital Lane, as there is no way for them to connect back up to Heath Road.
