REPENTANCE RESULTS TO RESTORATION! Have blessed Sunday to all. Now as Jacob went on his way, the angels of God met him. Genesis 32:1 Jacob was deceiver, a manipulator, a supplanter! He takes every advantage he can find to get ahead. He deceived his brother Esau by selling his birthright to him exchange for a bowl of stew. He lied to his father by getting parental blessing intended for Esau. When Jacob fled from his brother Esau, he met his match in the hands of his uncle, Laban, who also deceived him several times. In distress, Jacob decided to flee from Laban and return to the land of his brother Esau. But ang Diyos ay di tumitigil na magsalita o mangusap sa mga tao na nagkakasala sa kanya upang magbalik loob at magsisi sa kasalanan na kanyang nagawa. Katulad ni Jacob, Walang imposible sa Diyos As Jacob went on his way, he met his real match, God. Soon he began to repent, he began to change his mind about God and for the first time, he prayed to God with a sincere heart. He appealed to God on the basis of relationship and promises He made to his father Abraham and Isaac. He humbled himself before God and asked God to deliver him from the hands of his brother Esau, whom he feared would kill him. Repentance is not just a state of being SORRY but it means a CHANGE OF MIND.Like Jacob, he changed his mind about his brother. He started to make peace with him by initiating contact and giving him compensation through the messengers he sent ahead of him. Perhaps you are running away with God. But if you are a child of God and He has chosen you, like Jacob, He will surely find you. He will guide you and will not let you go. If you havent truly repented maybe its to time to admit who you really are and be changed. True repentance results to restoration. Is there a person in your past whom you need to be restored? Ask God to give you the strenght to do it. Just like Jacob, make your move! Youll never know what blessings await you along the way. God bless you all!
