REPORT OF MEETING THIS AFTERNOON AT HOTEL ROCAMAR First of all...... I think we will succeed. Here´s the story: The Sales/ PR Manager insists that the Management of Hotel Rocamar played no part in the events that led to Mr No Ears being taken away. They never complained about the presence of Mr No Ears or his family. Having spoken to the Municipal vet today, I do believe that what the PR Manager says is true. It would appear that the Municipal Vet was asked by her boss to go take a look at the group of cats, because he had some reports of a sick / injured cat ( I receive similar reports sometimes)The vet did already know the group of cats. She went to Rocamar and spoke ,informally, to a waiter whose duties at breakfast time mean he is sometimes serving guests on the open terrace of the Hotel. The issue of the cats was spoken about. The waiter told the vet that cats sometimes sit on the chairs or tables on the terrace (not when diners are eating!) and he has to wipe the tables because of this. Today, I spoke to the waiter and he acknowledges that the conversation with the vet took place but insists that what he said about the cats was intended as A COMMENT, NOT A COMPLAINT. I think this is where the «complaint» came from----and at that time, nobody in Rocamar Management had any idea that it happened.The PR Manager learned this from me today. The next thing was that Lyn was told by the Municipal vet that Mr No Ears must be re-located because of complaints.It´s a bit of a Comedy of Errors but I don´t think Rocamar Management lied. Now.....the situation with Mr No Ears...................... Management of Rocamar say it was not their wish that Mr No Ears was taken away and its not up to them to decide if he should return. In the event of him returning, they certainly have no objection. There it is. Now , in the next few days I will be making sure that there is nobody else who will be against Mr No Ears´return. We are nearly there, fans! Your help and support for Mr No Ears is appreciated so much and I hope everyone will continue sending him love and affection. His skin problem is healing but he remains depressed about loosing his freedom. CAN WE PUT A SMILE ON HIS FACE.....VERY SOON?
