REPOST: One Scandal after another!!! Its review time. Where should I start???? Obamacare . . . passed on the strength of DEMOCRAT votes ONLY!!!! We have to pass it before we can find out whats in it! The majority of the American people and all of the Republican legislators in the Congress opposed Obamacare. Of course, Conservatives were accused of pursuing a political agenda against the administration. Fast and Furious . . . DEMOCRAT legislators in Congress defended Attorney General Eric Holder and the DOJ and accused the REPUBLICAN legislators in Congress of pursuing a political agenda against the administration. Benghazi . . . All DEMOCRAT legislators in the Congress - both houses mind you - staunchly refused to place any blame on Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, or Leon Panetta for the failure to beef up security in response to the months of pleading by the diplomatic staff in Libya. Most Democrats in the Congress even accused the Republican legislators in the Congress of pursuing a political agenda against the administration. AP/FOX News Scandal . . . the DOJ - thats right Eric Holder, again - pursues a secret search warrant to obtain telephone records of at least twenty AP phone numbers involving the calls of about 100 AP journalists and staff in an attempt to identify the source of leaks of classified information to the press. The DOJ violated established rules and procedures in pursuing this search warrant and completely disregarded the First Amendment protection of the Press. It was only after some investigation into this search warrant, that it was learned that the DOJ had also pursued a secret search warrant against James Rosen of Fox News to obtain his personal and business phones as well as those of Rosens parents private personal phone numbers. In this warrant, the DOJ shopped around for a judge who would sign the warrant finally finding a judge to sign it on the third attempt. The search warrant was then sealed because the FBI Agent who shopped the warrant claimed that Mr. Rosen was a potential flight risk, and was a criminal co-conspirator. It was then determined that Attorney General Eric Holder personally signed off on the warrant. Only days prior to this information coming out, Holder had testified under oath before a committee that he was not aware of any such potential prosecution of a journalist and that he would want to be involved in it. Certifying in a search warrant before a judge that an innocent person is a criminal co-conspirator and a potential flight risk and including that innocent persons completely uninvolved parents as part of the search warrant is a gross falsehood. Now the AG and the DOJ say they never intended to prosecute James Rosen and therefore the AG didnt lie to Congress. However; James Rosen was formally accused of committing a crime and of being a criminal co-conspirator by the DOJ when in fact he was not. He has been slandered by the Attorney General of the United States. The Attorney General as well as the FBI agent who certified that Rosen was a flight risk and was a co-conspirator sought a false search warrant. Attorney General Holder blatantly lied under oath before Oversight Committees of the U.S. Congress. While some DEMOCRATS feign concern the majority of the DEMOCRAT legislators are defending AG Holder and accusing the REPUBLICAN legislators of pursuing a political agenda against the administration. IRS Scandal . . . This scandal is directly related to in large part letters from DEMOCRAT legislators to the IRS for increased scrutiny of applications of some CONSERVATIVE organization for 501(c)3 AND 501(c)4 tax exempt status. At about the same time those Senators who signed or wrote the letters to the IRS Commissioner, Barack Obama (running for re-election) and some of his campaign committee hacks were making public claims and complaints about advertising by certain CONSERVATIVE organizations. Then when the CONSERVATIVE organizations complained to their CONSERVATIVE legislators about getting audited and undergoing intense scrutiny on the part of the IRS there came a request for an IG investigation into what exactly was going on. The IG investigation did in fact find irregularities and the IG Report was concealed in the months leading up to the November elections. It is known that at least two high White House advisers were made aware of the IG Report findings and claim they made the decision not to inform the President. This stinks to high heaven of the Obama Administration abusing its power by using the IRS as a political weapon to intimidate certain CONSERVATIVE Americans. Some DEMOCRATS are treading cautiously but you just know theyd love to accuse the REPUBLICAN legislators of pursuing a political agenda against the administration. Now we have the National Security Agency obtaining telephone, cell phone, social network and email internet records on American citizens. There was a time when the NSA Charter specifically precluded NSA from just this type of surveillance. I know a young fella that recently came up for his five year background investigation (BI) for his security clearance who stopped using Facebook until his BI was successfully completed. Some in the administration are claiming that the Senate and House of Reps. have been briefed on the surveillance program. Those pesky REPUBLICANS are pursuing yet another political agenda against the administration. No . . . only some Senators and Congressmembers have been briefed. Its the old claim that in todays world you have to give up some of your freedom in order to be safe or secure. Damn . . . how did we get buy for the 220 odd years before 9/11???? Theres a new scandal brewing even as I write this. Has anyone out there heard anything about the homes of certain journalist (just the ones who are reporting on Benghazi now) catching on fire and burning down????? Has anyone heard a rumor that the U.S. Air Force is actually considering banning Memorial Day Observances because to do otherwise might offend Muslims??? Has anyone heard that all U.S. troops in Afghanistan are being denied one hot meal a day??? Just how much scandal can any one administration stand? Whats more, how much scandal will we the American people put up with? I contend we are long past the number of scandals that we should accept.
