REPOST: The actions of THIS ONE man Stith Parham WHO FREED ALL HIS SLAVES (he took on all the Parham family slaves through inheritance of 3 generations worth and changed the cycle upon his OWN death in 1784, HE STOPPED SLAVERY MENTALITY WITHIN HIS FAMILY UNIT his and my descendant lines forever affected by this action despite them rough days our families suffered 18th/19th century during slavery time THEY HAD THEIR FREE BLACKS PIECE OF PAPERS!!!! Warms my heart knowing my family were leaders from the beginning and not ever followers, we been a bi-racial family forever and they stood up and did so much is how we was raised set the example, set the bar, yes we did even back then!! There were a lot more names on HIS Freedom List of whom he willed and freed, IMPRESSIVELY 3 years BEFORE the US Constitution was EVER even was adopted (September 17, 1787) only 235 years ago, AND 78 years BEFORE the Emancipation Proclamation on September 22, 1862 about 149 years ago... Its just amazing to finally learn this about my family history EVEN THOUGH THE STRUGGLE CONTINUED....THE ACT WAS SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT FOR OUR PARHAM FAMILY TREES FUTURE TRADITION FOR ALL THE PARHAM/PARRUM LINES everywhere... Thanking God for my family connecting all over this world since 2009 a mere 1500 in the network connecting opened the door for over a 100,000 people for sure (we got big families)... Thats the realness of LOVE thats felt to and by peoples in my family circle. That;s why Im so blessed no matter what this world throws at me and grateful!!!!
