REQUEST FOR QUOTES: I have had to drop my printing and copying supplier, unfortunately, and have need of someone who can help me by typing redmarked corrections (my redmarks) to a 150-page manuscript. The manuscript is written; all I need is the indicated changes made to the text prior to final printing and submittal to a publisher. The typist would work off of the marked up copy, double-spaced Times New Roman 12pt font, and be supplied with the DVD of the manuscript so the changes would get made on it. (Pretty basic.) The misunderstanding with the copy outfit was that they could not understand that I dont need or want the entire manuscript retyped; just corrected. This sudden change in plans has not altered my deadline, so I would welcome the chance to meet with anyone SOON who feels confident in their keyboarding skills and has a couple of free hours a day or wants to earn money over a weekend doing some fairly easy work.
