****************RESERVATION*** ************: The issue of reservation has been in limelight from 1990. In 1950 in our constitution, provision of reservation in govt jobs & in educational institutions for scheduled castes and tribes was made for 10 years. After that it became political issue and because of votebank politics no government could da away with reservation policy. No society can progress with incompetant persons. Full facilities including free education, free books, free hostels & scholarships should be given, to weaker section of society to whichever class/ community/religion they belong. But compromise on quality should not be made. Will you like to sit in a plane whose pilot does not know how to fly the plane and just because he/ she belongs to a certain class/ community he/she has become a pilot. Similarly you will not like to sit in a car whose driver doess not know to drive the car. You will not like to go for treatment to a Doctor who does not have command over medicine. Even now advantage of reservation is reaching only to the rich people of SC/ST/OBC. Extremely poor are still living in pathetic conditions. We need political will and proper administration support to create facilities which help weakest of weak section to compete in the society where there is no compromise on quality and merit.
