RESPONSE TO LETTER IN BRACKETS: { } Letter from Pearl Minnema to Terry Minnema Delivered to Terry Minnema at his place of Employment January 14, 2014 Terry This hurts me greatly that my only means of contacting you is by letter this way. {Why not call his HOME phone number?} {She usually called him Wednesday (Her day off from work), Saturday and Sunday Mornings} {Not one phone call since we had her over for dinner on New Year’s Day!} I tried to contact you by cell phone this past Thursday afternoon and got your voice-mail. {Thursday Jan 9, 2014} {She never left a message because she never called him. Not in his log of received calls!} {The last time she called Terry’s cell phone was December 30, 2013} Have heard nothing since only a ride by the house. Thanks for checking on me. {Did not know she OWNS a public road: S. Waverly Rd between 8th St & 16th St} {So, now we can’t drive on S. Waverly Rd between 8th St and 16th St because she thinks we are “supposedly” checking up on her?} I was informed that I can be by myself with Brandon. This is not going to happen, as my time on earth is running short. I will be 71 years old and am going to live it to my best. {Pearl has been informed of this fact SEVERAL times in the past (soon to be 2 years March 28, 2012) by Terry & Jennifer} {FYI Everyone’s time is running short!} Concerning Nathan and his time coming home and at home. I made no fuss over the fact that you’s would be picking him up at the airport. I did know that you had changed hours for that Friday I only asked to go to the airport to see him off and offered to take the car. {Friday Dec 20, 2013} {Nathan was flying into Gerald R Ford Airport} {Thursday Jan 2, 2014 Nathan was leaving from Gerald R Ford Airport to all his connecting flights.} {The ONLY REASON for Pearl & Tracy to be there to see Nathan off was for THEIR benefit! Nathan has NEVER BEEN one to be emotional. He does not want anyone to make a fuss over him. HE would rather be left alone to do his own thing!} {That is WHY he did not let Pearl OR Tracy know his flight was cancelled and changed UNTIL HE WAS AT THE AIRPORT AND PAST SECURITY!!!} {Emily & I were there a mere 10-15 minutes with him during check-in then he left and walked up and into the security line!} {PLUS he told Terry “If I had the money I would take a taxi to the airport.” Upon Nathan coming home I asked him if I had to schedule appointment to see him and he said no appointments. The time Nathan chose to spend with me will be cherished the rest of my life. {Terry, Emily, Tyler & I DO NOT understand what she meant by making appointments with Nathan??? Nathan spent most all of his time with her, Dan, Tracy & Pearl’s other friends at Pearl’s house. Sat Dec 21, Sun Dec 22, Tue Dec 24, Thurs Dec 26, Fri Dec 27, Sat Dec 28, Sun Dec 29, etc. Nathan spent more time THERE than he did at home with Terry, Emily, Tyler & I!} {They went to the movies, he played Xbox, & whatever else they all did together} He chose me to give the white rose to at his graduation. I do feel he does have some feeling for me. {FYI Pearl was NOT the first choice to give the white rose to. There were MANY other people talked about BEFORE we – Terry, Jennifer, Emily & Nathan - chose Pearl. People who influenced him and helped him more – several teachers come to mind, but the one who he wanted to give the rose to was not going to be there. She just recently had a baby.} I was told to remove all pictures of him off my computer and also any other pictures that I have of him in his short army life. I am very proud of him and love him for the life he has chosen. {Security reasons} {Terry told her and Tracy to remove all pictures off of Facebook prior to any of this happening AND they both knew the reasons WHY – YET both have refused to comply with his request. Both have absolutely ZERO respect for him as a father and even less respect for him as a son and a brother! They have dismissed all his requests concerning Emily, Nathan & Tyler} I have had very close contact with a army military police concerning military security. Let it be known that he may wear his army fatigues as long as he does not disgrace the army. He can inform us about his military leaders and also his military home. If he had chosen security things would be different. {This is part of Military OPSEC Rules especially with Medics} {WE – HIS BIOLOGICAL PARENTS are very concerned for his and his fellow soldier’s safety. Especially in this day & age of attacks on Military Personnel. Better to be safe NOW instead of being sorry LATER!} The big concern over Nathan on Tracy’s computer was all Nathan. I heard him say he was not satisfied with his previous passport application and was afraid his mother would not send it to him, as she did not want him in Germany. This was not Tracy’s fault. {Tracy allowed Nathan to use her computer, her email account and her mailing address on a passport application. SHE SAT NEXT TO HIM, AT THE KITCHEN TABLE, WHILE HE WAS DOING THIS! Tracy DID NOT DISCOURAGE him (talk him out of it) from doing this! Emily was there and saw this happen!} {Jennifer NEVER EVER said she did not want him to go to Germany! Terry & I would rather him be in Germany vs. being deployed somewhere else! PLUS we knew that Germany has the Military’s best medical training facilities} I have my Facebook blocked as I feel my friends will not be reading the negative enters on my Facebook. I will not and don’t know how to enter anything on Facebook as I don’t know how. {SO… how is it – Terry, Jennifer & Emily have been blocked from seeing her (AND her daughter Tracy Cummings) page IF Pearl doesnt know HOW to do this?} {Why have a Facebook page in the first place IF you don’t know what you are doing? WHO created the Facebook page in the first place? WHO authorized this person to create the page for you? Who monitors it and makes changes to it? Are these changes made with your authorization and/or knowledge?} I contacted Kaylee only to know Thursday night if Nathan was gone. She did not pick up went to voice-mail. Did not talk to her. So how could I be choosing sides. {Thursday Jan 2, 2014} {Last we checked Kaylee is not part of our FAMILY! WHY call her, text her OR involve her in the first place to find out this type of information? Did YOU bother to call YOUR SON or Daughter-in-law – HIS PARENTS? NO YOU DID NOT!} {PLUS it wasnt YOU choosing sides; it was YOU AND TRACY trying to get KAYLEE to choose sides. Thus jeopardizing and compromising Emily & Kaylee’s friendship.} {Emily has had to suffer consequences because of this situation that YOU & TRACY started!} I was told I had to apologize but to whom and for what? {YOU and YOUR DAUGHTER – Tracy (Minnema) Cummings must apologize first and foremost to Terry, Emily, Nathan, Tyler & Jennifer (PLUS Kaylee – Emily’s FRIEND) for causing all this mess. For trying to get us to comply and bend down to YOUR demands concerning Nathan’s Christmas Break. For going behind Terry’s back in order to get him to allow Tracy & Dan to pick him up from the Airport on Friday December 20, 2013. For Tracy emailing Jennifer about: “Also were coming in town Friday night so I figured to save money for everyone, that Dan & I could pick Nathan up at the airport and bring him home.” When that didnt work Tracy went to Nathan & he did not care WHO picked him up at the airport. Needless to say, Nathan’s PARENTS AND SISTER, Terry, Jennifer & Emily ended picking Nathan up at the airport.} Hope you find it in your heart to resolve this matter. {Tracy and Pearl are the ones who need to resolve this matter NOT Terry, Jennifer, Emily, Nathan or Tyler! They need to also APOLOGIZE to Kaylee - IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE - TEXTING HER IS NOT A VALID APOLOGY - for involving her in the first place! PLUS they need to set the record straight WITH ALL THEIR FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK: Lena Shaffer, Kim Wojahn, and Martha Adams etc. that THEY are the ONES who started all this in the first place! THAT they are in the wrong! That they LIED to everyone. Wanting everyone to feel sorry for them and to make themselves look good!} I will be waiting to hear from you. {YOU WILL BE WAITING A VERY LONG TIME FOR ANY OF US TO CONTACT EITHER ONE OF YOU!} {THIS IS YOUR MESS AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE AMENDS TO ALL OF US!} I love you Mom
