RIDER PROFILE - Here we catch up with sponsored para dressage rider Sophie Wells... Background: Sophie was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome and is classified as a Grade IV Para Dressage rider. She also competes in abled-bodied dressage at Grand Prix level. First Pony: Sophie started riding at the age of seven and her first pony was called Crystal which is when she first took up able-bodied dressage. Greatest achievement: winning a Paralympic Team Gold and Two Individual Silver Medals at London 2012 with her faithful partner Noki. She also has an MBE to her name and eleven Championship Gold Medals between her two top horses, Noki and Reece.
