RIP. We should never let a lifetime of struggle and advocacy be overshadowed by a temporary fall from grace and a moment of indiscretion. Whos ready to cast the first stone? Not I! He made enough of an impact in his lifetime that his legacy should not be tossed aside as a result of human failings. We all make mistakes in life but Barry did so much more in his 78 years than many of those who wish to discard his contributions because we found out that he was not perfect. We forgive him his trespasses and honor him for what he gave over the years that far outstrips his foibles.
